Dallas Christian School
Dallas Christian School had its beginnings in 1957 when members
of the churches of Christ decided to establish a learning institution
that would offer education of the highest quality. The goal was to
provide a school that would training students academically, physically,
and spiritually. Since the school's inception, Bible classes and
chapel services have been offered each day to help in the moral development
of the students. The school has a fine record of preparing students
for college with over 90 percent of its graduates continuing their
education at institutions of higher learning. Dallas Christian has
been at its present location since 1975. The beautiful 100-acre campus,
formerly occupied by a college, has a lovely setting amidst rolling
hills. It is conveniently located in Mesquite, 12 miles east of downtown
Dallas and close to Garland. The campus is situated at the intersection
of the LBJ Freeway and I-30., which makes it easily accessible to
those in the Metroplex area.
Dallas Christian is served by a Board of Directors consisting of
21 men and women from the Metroplex who give of their time and finances
to help the school's programs. The board is composed of individuals
with varied backgrounds. Included are a dentist, an architect, an
attorney, CPA's, doctors, and presidents and officers of companies
such as Argent Properties, Elk Corporation, Vastar Resources, Baylor
Institute of Rehabilitation, Questechnology Corporation, Corporate
Magic, Campbell and Cobbe, and Transport Industries, L.P.

Children's Palace Preparatory School
Children's Palace Preparatory School is a private early
childhood school specializing in early childhool education ages 2
- kindergarten. With all kindergarten students reading above grade
level before entering 1st grade.
