7/26/07 - Mesquite Police Department wins 4 crime prevention awards

The Mesquite Police Department took home four awards last week for medium market departments at the Texas Crime Prevention and Training Conference held at the Richardson Hotel.

The department was honored as the Outstanding Crime Prevention Agency, for Outstanding Media Presentation and for its “What If” program. Also, officer Don Williams was named Outstanding Crime Prevention Specialist for medium markets. More at Mesquite Star News!
