Sunday, August 5th thru Friday, August 31st Mesquite Creative Arts Club will hold an exhibition, in the Main and Chamber Galleries. The galleries are open M-F 8a-5p and during performances.
Sunday, August 5th thru Sunday, August 5th Texas Area Artists will host their monthly meeting and artist demonstration at 2p in the Rehearsal Hall. The public is invited. Call 214-566-8269 for information.
Monday, August 13th thru Monday, August 13th The “Monthly Paint-In” begins at 10a. All artists are invited to bring their projects and share successes with others. Free! Call 214-566-8269.
Friday, August 17th thru Saturday, September 1st Mesquite Community Theatre presents The Foreigner in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets range from $12 - $8. Call 972/216-8126 for reservations and information.
Monday, August 27th thru Tuesday, August 28th Mesquite Community Theatre staged reading series presents Goldilocks and the Three Bears at 7:30p in the Black Box Theatre. Reservations are not required and admission is free. For more information contact MCT at 972-216-8126

Saturday, September 1st thru Sunday, September 30th The Mesquite Arts Council presents an exhibit by Diane Walker Gladney in the Main Gallery. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8a until 5p and during performances. Call the Arts Council for information at 972/216-6444.
Saturday, September 8th thru Saturday, September 8th Mesquite Symphony Orchestra Membership Gala Concert Transitions featuring the music of Halvorsen, Gardner-Morales, Ravel and Williams begins at 7:30p. Friday, September 21st thru Saturday, September 22nd El Secreto de la Lagartija/ The Lizard’s Secret, a bilingual play based on Mexican folktales. It tells the take of a prince and a magical journey where he encounters giants and talking animals. Presented at the Mesquite Arts Center by the Latino Arts Association at 10a. Admission is free; reservations are required. Please call the Mesquite Arts Council at 972-216-6444 during business hours for more information. These performances are funded in part by the Edward Jones, Dr. Cary Tanamachi and Ralph and Jeann Wisenbaker Endowments
Friday, September 28th thru Friday, September 28th Join us for Art@Lunch Autumn at the Dallas Arboretum 11:30am – 2:00pm. The cost is $20 and includes: transportation, admission into the museum, docent led tour and lunch Reservations required call 972-216-6444.

Saturday, October 20th thru Saturday, October 20th Children’s Chorus of Greater Dallas in concert at 8p. The concert is funded in part by the Dede Duson Music Endowment as designated by Jean Rogers Winchell and the Mesquite Arts Council.
Saturday, October 27th thru Sunday, November 4th Mesquite Community Theatre presents Sleepy Hollow in the Black Box Theatre.
