9/22/06 - Intoxicated Drivers vs. Tax Revenue
City Council had a hearing last week to addresses the zoning ordinance eliminating buffers for churches, schools, hospitals and residential areas as they pertain to the location of private clubs! One thing Mesquite DOES NOT need is more private clubs serving alcohol thus putting more legally intoxicated drivers in our city of Mesquite. Are you willing to sacrifice the safety our streets, families and neighborhoods for the obvious reason of more tax revenue for the city? Let's see... Intoxicated drivers vs. money - this is a no brainer!
