Wednesday April 29th the DACED will have the honor of having a majority of Mesquite City Council candidates in attendance at it's April General membership meeting, to intoduce themselves and speak about their campaigns. They will speak alongside other candidates running for public office from all around Dallas County.

The Dallas County East Democrats thanks all of the Mesquite candidates who have agreed, and those still considering, to come and speak at the DACED on Weds. April 29 @ 7:00 PM

The DACED serves the Mesquite area, and the Mesquite City Candidates have been a big request from the club members

Every month, the DACED has many Candidates from all levels of County and City Government come and speak a few minutes to it's membership. So far during the first 3 months of 2009 the DACED has had 12 candidates in January, 14 in February, and 17 Candidates in March.

Previous Candidates that have spoken have included Clay Jenkins, who is running for Dallas County Judge, Balch Springs Mayor Cedric Davis, Judge Craig Smith, Dallas City Council candidate Billy Macleod, Jerry Pittman candidate for Dallas County Constable Pct 2, and Judge Doug Skemp to name just a few.

So far Mesquite Candidates that have said "Yes" are Carole Lochhead, Brad Underwood, Jeremy Ritchie, Bill Porter, and Kasey Copeland. Mesquite City Councilmen Dennis Tarpley and Al Forsythe have both said Yes they will come, schedule permiting. Mayor John Monaco will not be present due to his busy schedule.

The DACED meets at Paula Sue's Diner 11915 E. Lake June Rd. Balch Springs TX 75180 (the intersection of Lake June and Hickory Tree) Every last Weds. of the month.
