2/16/07 - Edgemont Park

I have several issues facing our neighborhood today. Edgemont Park in Mesquite, Texas! We are between Lake June and Bruton Road!

1. Balch Springs is now selling beer and wine and plans on allowing businesses to set-up a shop within 30 feet of an elementary school.
2. Balch Springs school district is MISD.
3. MISD has given over 30 million dollars to Balch Springs for improvements made to their school system.
4. Currently, Balch Springs is trying to consolidate all their schools into the MISD school system.
5. Wal-Mart just expanded their stores and used more of LEW Park which was originally donated to the CITY to be forever a park. SO why were they allowed to expand their business?
6. I am so sick and tired of not seeing policemen patrol our area.
7. Tired of Balch Springs not notifying its residents of zoning changes.
