10/15/07 - Don't allow alcohol sales in Mesquite! I HATE going to places like Garland and Balch Springs where every store sells beer and wine. It will invite panhandling, litter, and crime into our fair town, just like it has there. Even at the post office and library I am approached by drunks begging "just a couple of dollars". My CHILDREN have been approached by those seeking to come up with enough to buy one more beer. Leave that for Garland and Balch Springs...protect Mesquite from alcohol and sexually oriented busnesses.
